Hello Everyone!

It is hard to believe that we are almost halfway through our season! The holidays are fast approaching and we would like to invite you to our Christmas Party, held December 18th from 3:15-4:15 pm. Each skater is allowed to bring a friend to skate with, and it promises to be a great time! We hope to see you all there! During the Christmas Party, we will be holding a raffle for this wonderful gift basket donated from Bath & Body Works. Tickets are a dollar for one, and we hope you participate in this great fundraiser. It is also a chance to win a last minute Christmas gift!

Thank you to all our wonderful skaters and we hope you have an enjoyable week ahead (filled with lots of skating, of course)!

Hello everyone!

  • We would like to remind all our wonderful Thursday skaters that due to the Thanksgiving Holiday there will not be any skating on Thursday night! Have a safe & happy holiday!
  • As you all know, our fuel oil raffle ticket fundraising is coming to a close. Please turn all fuel oil raffle tickets in no later than 11:30 on Saturday 11/26 and the drawing for this will be held at 12:00.
  • For all skaters signed up under the Learn to Skate program, this Saturday 11/26 is your final week under the current 6 week package. If you are interested in continuing, and we would love to have you stay & skate with us for the remainder of the year please see: Elaine White, Danielle Perry or Mindy Aube!
  • This Saturday, 11/26, will be testing day for all the skaters from Snow Plow - Basic 5. Your class will still meet at its regular time but during this lesson all skaters will be tested to see if they are ready to move to another level or if they will remain at their current level for the next session.  If the skater passes their test they are eligible to receive a patch for the level passed, the cost for the patch is $1 and can be picked up in the Pro's Room at the rink. Please present your testing papers to the board so that we can set up the lessons and groups for the next skating session. If there is a change in your lesson time we will try to contact you by email or by phone to let you know what the changes are!
  •  Also, please be aware that we are still working on the Meadow Farms fund raiser and any sales from this will need to be turned no later than 12/3/11. This is a great way to get some Christmas shopping out of the way and help our club raise money for the season!
Have a safe & delightful Thanksgiving Holiday! We are very thankful you are skating with us!

Liberty Mutual Contest

HELP US

win $2,500

from LIBERTY MUTUAL!

Liberty Mutual is awarding $2,500 community grants as part of its Responsible Sports program championing and celebrating responsibility in youth sports.
Here's how it works:
n Every person who completes the online Responsible Coaching or Responsible Sport Parenting course and the 10-question review quiz earns one point. The twenty (20) organizations around the country that get the most points will earn a $2,500 grant.
n Since we’ll only be competing against organizations of similar size (three separate divisions), we have a great chance to win! Of course, the more people we get to take the course and quiz, the better our chance of winning the Community Grant.
n Let’s all work together – for the kids, and for the $2,500 grant. Just think of the ways this grant could help us: equipment, uniforms, travel, practice field time – you name it!
Get started at
www.ResponsibleSports.com/Grant today!
